The actual process of scanning takes about 60 seconds to complete. And, with results arriving within 2 minutes of the scan, you won't have to wait around to know the progress of your health and wellness journey.
When it comes to other tests, like ones that use electrical currents or water displacement, you are required to fast beforehand to get accurate results. With Styku, you won't have to fast, and you'll still achieve more reliable results.
How it Works
Styku works by emitting infrared light and measuring the amount of time it takes to essentially “bounce back” to the light sensor on the device. It does this multiple times, collecting several images to form a full 360° view of your body. If the light takes longer to travel back to the sensor, then the object is farther away, and if the light takes very little time to travel back, then the object is closer. The Styku technology uses this science to compile the many captured images into a 3D model that shows your exact measurements.
What to Expect.
Consultation
The Styku itself does not require a consultation; however, most of the treatments that require the use of Styku do. What will happen first is a meeting with our Beyond Body Wellness team for a consultation. This allows us to get to know your medical history and your health goals, and we’ll create a customized care plan based on that information. Your plan may include Styku and other treatments to help you reach your goals and achieve whole-body health.
Testing
The testing portion of this is quite simple. We will ask you to wear skin-tight clothing or a swimsuit to get more accurate results. You will stand on the scanner for about 60 seconds, and once the scan finishes, your provider will be able to give you your test results in about 2 minutes!
